Abstract
In this paper we describe the work carried out in the PLAYHIST experiment in which we propose the use of gaming technologies to convert an interactive virtual reality film into a multiuser game with real 3D avatars to improve visitors' engagement when visiting a cultural center and museum about Hellenic history.
