The cooling curve and its derivatives analysis offer parameters that can be used in simulation software programs to improve simulation accuracy and to control the metallurgical quality of cast parts. This paper shows the calculation of thermo-physical, solidification and precipitated phases characteristics of AlSi10Mg1 cast aluminium alloy.
