The main challenge of using smart meters events is the vast amount of data collected: the average of events gathered in an area per day is around 40% higher than the number of smart meters installed. To transform this huge quantity of information in network improvements, a set of strategies have been undertaken. The core purpose of this analysis is to establish a more rational and automated processing of smart meter events, aimed to embrace them as key information for network operation.5418090enginfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAdopting smart meter events as key data for low-voltage network operationconference output10.1049/oap-cired.2017.0784Electric utilitiesAutomated processingIn networksLow voltage networkNetwork operationsVoltage deviationsSmart metersPower distribution reliabilityElectric utilitiesAutomated processingIn networksLow voltage networkNetwork operationsVoltage deviationsSmart metersPower distribution reliabilityElectrical and Electronic EngineeringControl and Systems EngineeringEnergy Engineering and Power TechnologyProject IDinfo:eu-repo/grantAgreement/EC/H2020/646531/EU/Real proven solutions to enable active demand and distributed generation flexible integration, through a fully controllable LOW Voltage and medium voltage distribution grid/UPGRIDinfo:eu-repo/grantAgreement/EC/H2020/646531/EU/Real proven solutions to enable active demand and distributed generation flexible integration, through a fully controllable LOW Voltage and medium voltage distribution grid/UPGRIDFunding InfoThis development is part of the UPGRID project, which has received_x000D_ funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and_x000D_ innovation programme under grant agreement no. 646531_x000D_ (http://upgrid.eu/)This development is part of the UPGRID project, which has received_x000D_ funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and_x000D_ innovation programme under grant agreement no. 646531_x000D_ (http://upgrid.eu/)http://www.scopus.com/inward/record.url?scp=85138682110&partnerID=8YFLogxK
