An overview of the NCV2015 vehicle, including its control & I2V (Infrastructure to Vehicle) communication systems are presented in this paper. Thanks to the Information & Communication Technologies (ICTs) and the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITSs), the intelligent and optimized energy management strategies (i-EMSs) can be designed and tested thus improving the vehicle performance in terms of range, fuel consumption, and emissions. The i-EMS installed on the NCV2015, including its benefits and future improvements, is finally presented and discussed in this paper.enginfo:eu-repo/semantics/restrictedAccessNCV2015: A networked range extended electric vehicle for clean and efficient mobilityconference outputI2V communicationsOptimized i-EMSsRange extended electric vehiclesSupervisory controlComputer Networks and CommunicationsComputer Science ApplicationsControl and Systems EngineeringElectrical and Electronic EngineeringMechanical EngineeringTransportationSDG 11 - Sustainable Cities and Communitieshttp://www.scopus.com/inward/record.url?scp=84897006387&partnerID=8YFLogxK
