RT Journal Article T1 SERS-active substrate based on macroporous silicon A1 Ignat, Teodora A1 Munoz, Roberto A1 Kleps, Irina A1 Miu, Mihaela A1 Obieta, Isabel A1 Simion, Monica AB Novel architectures with nanometric are very promising as build- ing blocks for future nanotechnological applications. Metallic substrates with ordered morphology have been shown to be very effective for surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). The sensitivity of detection is increased by several orders of magnitude by using this technique. In this paper we investigate SERS on thermal evaporated gold layer / porous silicon substrate comparatively to a PVD-gold layer/flat silicon substrate.
