dc.description.abstractTwo different models for instability detection in a radial turning process are proposed in order to prevent fault appearance. This methods allows to detect instability on this machining process based on the forces. Median Absolute Deviation Normalized (MADN) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) are the statistical methods used to classify those tests. The results have showed that the models are close to expert classification of the tests stability.en
